A visual story of movement, culture, and connection.

-
A 5-day immersive group trip rooted in movement, community, and cultural exploration in Sayulita, Mexico. It’s not a yoga retreat. It’s a curated experience for people who want to move, grow, and connect with others and with themselves.
-
Active, growth-minded humans in their 20s–60s who love new experiences. Most guests come solo and leave with deep friendships. If you love to move, laugh, eat well, and explore - you’ll fit right in.
-
Yes! Most of our guests come solo. The experience is intentionally designed to build connection from day one - you’ll feel like you’re traveling with old friends.
-
Yes. Expect daily movement (yoga, strength, surf, or hikes). It’s not bootcamp, but this is an active trip. You should have a moderate to strong fitness level and enjoy moving regularly.
-
That’s perfect. We meet you where you are. If you do yoga, strength classes, run, or hike a few times a week, you’ll be just fine.
-
We offer daily movement sessions like vinyasa yoga, functional fitness/HIIT, and mobility flows. The type of yoga practiced will be vinyasa flow, or Power Vinyasa, with some added heat to get the heart rate up and push the body. Surfing and hiking are also included.
-
Nope. Surfing is optional, though encouraged. We work with amazing local instructors and offer alternatives if you’d prefer to skip it. You can join the surf trip, hang out on the beach, and cheer on others!
-

If you extend your stay before or after the trip, airport transfers are not included, but we help you organize them. Expect ~$50 USD for a shared or private ride.

Sayulita is known as one of the safest cities in Mexico for travelers, and one of the most safe places to live in Mexico by those who call it home. Sayulita is a small surf town where the locals survive entirely on tourism, which means safety of tourists and travelers is highly prioritized. But don’t just take our word for it–do your own research and you will read all about why Sayulita is one of the safest cities in Mexico.
-
One surf lesson is included in the overall retreat price, but you do not have to surf if you do not want to. However, you will be encouraged to step outside of your comfort zone. Surfing has this amazing ability to make you feel strong and humbled all at the same time. There is also something very special about getting out into the ocean and just sitting on a surfboard, taking it all in. If you choose not to surf, other activities will be offered. Feel free to reach out if you have additional questions!
-
This retreat is great for solo travelers–most of our retreat participants are solo travelers! This retreat is a great place to meet new people who share your same values and want to make the most of every moment while traveling! We know traveling alone can be a bit intimidating so we will make sure that every detail is covered and you feel comfortable and supported. There will be other guests who are coming alone and request being paired with other retreat guests. We will pair you with another retreat guest and provide introductions prior to the retreat so you can begin to get to know one another.
-
We understand that weather can happen. We schedule our retreats to avoid the rainy season. Sayulita’s rainy season begins roughly in June and ends at the beginning of October. However, Blue has plans for all possible weather situations!
-
We will send out a recommended packing list 30 days prior to the retreat.
-
This is to protect you in case of any unforeseen circumstances both before your trip or during your trip. We recommend purchasing travel insurance as soon as you purchase your flight. In case you have a family emergency and need to cancel your flight, travel insurance should cover you.
-
Yes! Just let us know when you put down your deposit that you are interested in a payment plan and we will set that up for you.
-
Blue must reserve the entire hotel for the retreat far in advance because Sayulita is a popular tourist destination. We specifically chose this hotel because it is intimate and off the main square, providing a quieter and more peaceful atmosphere. Once your deposit is made, we begin to pay other vendors to secure their services for the retreat, and the deposits we pay them are non-refundable as well.
-
Vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals can travel to Mexico. However, a negative COVD-19 test is required to re-enter the United States. Blue will help arrange appointments on the second to last day of the trip for each guest to obtain a COVID-19 test at the local Saint Lukes Hospital near the hotel. COVID-19 tests are $25. Please reach out if you have additional questions or concerns.
